Dancing one 'n one

One and one, that makes two
So kiss and don't think about it
Because thinking destroys the illusion
Everything goes around, goes around in a circle
And if you should get derailed
It was just experience rather than revelation
What does it matter
Man is basically lonely
And holds back in isolation
One doesn't seek together
A small piece of happiness
Happiness that one hastreated with contempt all one's life
That one with a few kissesSuddenly has at home
One and one, that makes two
One heart is always thereAnd if you're lucky
Then there are two.No one will invent the recipe
No one will figure it out.Sometimes it's good for life
And sometimes it's only good for flirtation
Man is basically a cowardAnd is ashamed of his feelings
So that no one shows it
Because that's the way morality wants it
But when it really comes down to itHe hides in the dark
Dear God sees everythingAnd long ago has found you out
One and one, that makes two,So kiss and don't think much about it
When at times you feel like crying
Happy is the one who enjoys today,
And forgets what's done and gone
Things happen as they must
First comes the first kiss
Then comes the last kiss
And that's that.

Dancing With Romance

A fine romance
with no kisses
A fine romance
my friend this is
We should be like a couple of hot tomatoes
But you’re as cold as yesterday’s mashed potatoes

A fine romance
you won’t nestleA fine romance, you won’t wrestle
I might as well play bridge
With my old maid aunt
I haven’t got a chance
This is a fine romance

A fine romance, my good fellow
You take romance
I’ll take jello
You’re calmer than the seals
In the arctic ocean
At least they flap their fins
To express emotion

A fine romance with no quarrels
With no insults and all morals
I’ve never mussed the crease
In your blue serge pants
I never get the chance
This is a fine romance
